Muntz NewsSt. Charles, IL, Screenings Draw Audience of 700!
Madman Muntz comes home! Two FREE screenings of the new documentary film "Madman Muntz: American Maverick" are scheduled to be held in St. Charles, IL, on Saturday and Sunday, July 30 and July 31, 2005. St. Charles is right next door to Elgin, Earl "Madman" Muntz's hometown. The screenings will be held at the beautiful, old 900-seat Arcada Theater, 105 East Main Street. The theater phone number is 630-845-8900. The screenings are at 2:00 p.m. on both days. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. Come early to view several beautifully restored Muntz Jet sports cars parked in front of the theater and the Muntz memorabilia on display in the theater lobby. There will be a question and answer session after each screening. A Madman Muntz impersonator will be entertaining the crowds outside the theater. Come celebrate Elgin's most famous son!
